VSUES won All-Russia competition on education quality and became one of the winners of high school managers training international program in 2007. VSUES also became the best university-participant of Vladimir Potanin Charity Foundation Scholarship Program in the Far Eastern Federal District.

There is “Vseved” Internet portal, putting the rating of Russian higher education institutions. According to “Vseved” portal, VSUES is the best University in Vladivostok since 2005. Moreover, VSUES is the only university which received four star appraisal that made him one of the best universities of Russia.

 

Our methods of training

 

A university is considered to be the place to get knowledge at, but this statement is partly right. Our century of information technologies does not value the knowledge itself, without practice. Often we can see that young person with brilliant education proves himself as useless employee at his place of work. That is why nowadays everybody gives priority not to the knowledge and skills but to the competencies, that is motivated capabilities of a professional to meet challenges in his field efficiently.

So the knowledge itself is not enough, though undoubtedly it is the basis. Also the importance is given to the professional mobility, active social position, responsibility and many other qualities - every profession has its own set of qualities specific for successful professional. Our university implements rating system of education quality evaluation based on a one hundred grading system.

Library

 

VSUES library is considered one of the best libraries of Russian Federation due to the speed of its automation and technical equipment.

Undoubtedly, the main wealth of a library is its stock. It is literally unmeasured at VSUES and includes thousands titles of traditional form – modern training materials, belles-lettres and scientific literature, and periodicals.
